It's no secret that I'm a big girl. All my life I have been chunky and I've been fine wiht it. When I was 13 my bigness caught up with me and I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Luckily yu can get rid of Type 2 by losing weight and eating right. I started doing that and by the time I was 18 I was taken off the medications. When starting college I gained the weight back and a bit more. Luckily during my year at Simpson University I did lost a lot of weight (at least 20lbs).

I really don't want ot have to go back on the diabetes medications and I want to make sure I can be healthy since I already have high blood pressure problems. So my goal is to lose 60 pounds (about 27 kilos). I will be working out starting with taking my dog for a walk every morning. We went one morning to test the route and it's a pretty good workout. Then I will change my eating habits. I eat lots of carbs and I want to cut that down quite a bit. I will starting replacing the problem foods with the good foods like veggies and fruits.

The best part is during my journey at least once a week and sometimes more I will post my progress here for all of you to see and hopefully cheer me on and keep me on track.

Current Stats:
At my last doctor's appointment I weighed 263 lbs. (I need to buy a new scale because mine is weird)
My Body Mass Index is 45.14

ALRIGHT I am ready to start this journy and tomorrow orning my dog and i will go for our first walk of the challenge and the healthy eating will start. I'm really excited for being able to go shopping and buying all new clothes. I would appreciate your help in keeping me on track.
